The gold scroll was painted first on this 24″ x 36″ canvas. As the worship music began to crescendo, Mary’s brush stokes danced to the fast beat of the drummer, creating a flowing angel holding the scroll. It is amazing to recognize facial features that were added with just a “smoosh” of the paint brush.
