“Come quickly, my beloved and be like a gazelle or young stag on the mountain of spices.” Song of Songs 8:14
“Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my lover among the sons. In his shadow I delighted to sit and his fruit was sweet to my taste.” Song of Songs 2:3
While sitting at one of my favorite prayer spots in the woods, a white buck appeared to me in a vision. “What is that?” I asked. Holy Spirit replied, “The Great Stag.” He approached and licked my face. Bewildered, I quickly left, not sure what I had just encountered. I searched the scriptures and discovered that the stag represents Jesus our Lover. I shared the experience with Bobby Conner. He told me the entire Bible boils down to meeting Jesus under the apple tree.
The Great Stag is only available in 11″ x 14″ print and 5″ x 7″ card (blank inside with envelope).
This was an original 24″ by 36″ acrylic on canvas painting by Mary Hasz. The watermarks (Just Play, Inc.) are only for online copy-write protection and are not part of the painting.
